My sister had her 14th birthday party back in early April and decided she wanted an Alice in Wonderland theme. Knowing me, we all knew I had to be the big bitchy Red Queen. P: I didn't have the time to throw together a spiffy outfit, so I tried to make up for it with outlandish make-up that I drew mostly from Helena Bonham Carter's representation of the Red Queen.

I didn't want to try and cover up my brows because they are bushy likewhoa (and this is AFTER that lady in Florida waxed them uber thin, mind you) so instead I used the same lip liner color I had on my lips to fill in my brows. The rest was pretty simple -- foundation that was lighter than my natural skintone, lots of blue eyeshadow, concealer stick on my lips and a steady hand to draw on the heart.

Like I said, my outfit wasn't that amazing. I pulled out a black dress I bought at a vintage store and paired it with almost every piece of heart-themed jewelry I owned. My mom also ordered me these really bad-ass shoes with striped heels -- I wish I had taken a better shot of them.
I didn't do much with my hair other than curl it. I had a crappy crown made out of what appeared to be some crappy faux velvet material that my mom bought at Party City that was supposed to be on my head, so I couldn't get too crazy.

My amazing Betsey Johnson bracelet. Is it perfect or what?
That heart took some hella good patience. And I really liked the filled in brows.
