Wild Purple Margarita!

So my makeup came out pretty awesome today! As promised, here's a blog entry about it! Also, I named this post after this really tasty fruit margarita thing I had at Buffalo Wild Wings today for my birthday!

Anywho, I was really proud of my look today. I did my first "rooster" poof and it turned out better than expected. I wasn't too sure how to do it at first, so I Googled it! I found a nice tutorial and then realized that I forgot my comb in Peru! I had to make due with a brush, but it came out okay. It poofed more to one side, but no one really noticed that it was screwed up. They thought it was supposed to be that way. >.>

I was really pleased with my make up. Again I employed a few of my favorites for today's look. I used Kirill's Plumberry on the lid and Blanc Blue for the crease, which I blended up a bit. I used this Claire's silver duo that I got from Courtney on the browbone, but you can't really tell in the pictures! It was rather glittery, which I liked. It added pizazz to my look. I finally mastered putting liner on my lid, so I did that and liner on my water line. I used my sister's Lash Blast mascara, though I'm not sure I like it. It didn't extend my lashes as well as the Lancome mascara and the tube his rather bulky. Beneath my eyes, I used Aqua Blue and in the corners, I used Taffy Purple just to make it all pop. I was quite pleased with how it looked and it could be seen in the dark area of the BWW's bar. My lip gloss is one of my favorites to wear with a light look and it's by Lancome. It's a Juicy Tube Pop and its called Fruity Pop! It's pink and shimmery, so it's nice. I used blush today as well and it is E.L.F Innocence. I finally figured out how to get it open! It just slides out, so I feel like a tard.All in all, I'm very pleased with how everything came out, as I said like a million times in this blog! I'm hoping to keep improving on my makeup 'technique' and I also hope to get braver and more bold with my looks. Right now I'm playing it safe, but I know I'll get better and more experimental. Especially as my collection grows! Now a last picture before I go!
