Heavenly Naturals review/haul

I've heard a lot about Heavenly Naturals, so when Ashley's birthday rolled around I figured it was high time to get around to trying them.





I didn't take a picture of the box it came in, but it was all very nice and neatly packed in. I definitely love the care they take to package their stuff and that they included the cute little bags and a business card. The letterhead was also quite nice and offered great tips on how to use the eyeshadows as liner, pigment in nail polish, etc.

These are the colors I ordered for myself. I would have taken pictures of Ashley's, but at the time I thought I would be posting this sooner and didn't want the surprise ruined :P They also threw in two free samples, which I am always a fan of! I ordered three other shades for Ashley, as well as a lipgloss.

And here are the swatches! I haven't swatched before, so I doubt I'll be doing it this method again. It's kind of a pain to do the wet ones and my hands look odd. Anywho, Fierce and Lemy-Lime have that nice glittery sheen to them, whereas impulsive and hypnotic are extremely matte. Overall, these colors are all gorgeous.

The Rundown

Packaging & Shipping: The packaging it came in (i.e. the box) was gorgeous. I loved it. It was extremely well put together and showed a lot of thought for the customer. My one complaint is the actual pigment packaging, as in the 5 gram jars. It was messy and kind of annoying, I have ordered from other mineral makeup companies before and never have I had the gram jars be messy! There was already pigment falling out of it even with the sifter and sticker holding it in, which made me think they hastily filled them. As for shipping, I received my order extremely fast, so I was very very pleased with that.
Pigment: I have to say, these colors are extremely gorgeous, but they have some issues. For one, impulsive goes on in a very random manner. I had to apply it several different times just to get even coverage, and then it still looked a bit odd. I didn't have the same problem with Fierce and Lemy-Lime, so maybe it's just the "neon" matte colors.
Quantity & Price: I have to say I love how they sell these products. In addition to the full jars (4.99 each) they also offer sample jars (1.74) and sample baggies (1.00). I ordered a few of the colors in full jars and a few in sample jars. The sample jars are definitely going to last me a while and the full jars... I might not ever run out! I am also really pleased with the prices, they're fair and you get a lot for your buck.
